Please say hello! Just stopping in to give you this cinnamon sugar mini donut recipe. As this recipe is now a few years old, I have recently updated it with some home deep-frying advice. Recipes for made from scratch donuts are much simpler than they seem.
My fave recipe to prepare is for little donuts. Making hot, fresh mini donuts at home always seems like you have your own little donut store, which is great fun. I just use my standard brioche dough, which I let rise over night to get it nice and simple to roll out. Then all you have to do is lay out the dough, cut out your little donuts, and deep-fry them until golden brown.
Though there are truly many possibilities, I finished these little donuts with cinnamon sugar, much like these Classic cinnamon sugar donuts. Large batches may be made and then glazed, sprinkled, or tossed with different flavored sugars. We think you will enjoy them as much as we do!
