Instructions:
Prepare the Batter:
In a mixing bowl, combine the egg, granulated sugar, vanilla sugar, extra virgin olive oil, salt, natural yogurt, and milk. Mix well until smooth.
Gradually add the cake flour and baking powder into the mixture, stirring until you have a smooth batter. If the batter is too thick, you can add a little more milk to adjust the consistency.
Prepare the Apple:
Wash the apple thoroughly and remove the core. Cut the apple into thin slices or small chunks, as per your preference.
Coat the Apple Slices:
Dip each apple slice or chunk into the batter, ensuring it’s well-coated on all sides.
Fry the Fritters:
Heat some frying oil in a pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the coated apple slices into the pan, ensuring they’re not overcrowded.
Fry the apple fritters for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn golden brown and crispy.
Serve:
Once fried, remove the apple fritters from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
Sprinkle some cinnamon powder over the fritters for extra flavor.
Serve the apple fritters warm with a side of yogurt dip.
